English Poetry

Shipwrecked!

the wind is chilling me down to the bone
I need to get out I want to go home
or there’s soon going to be a new gravestone
stranded on a smelly old boat
now there’s a leak it’s not going to float

now I feel cold I’m soaking and wet
I want to get out you can bet every bet
just how bad is this storm going to get
I want to be doing something than this
excluding jumping down a deep dark abyss

oh no the water is up to my knees
god please save me please please please!
hey my luck is turning i just found some cheese
oh no! I need my hair gel
man oh man I’m going though hell.

look a boat! I’m saved!
a chock full of chocolate that’s what I crave
I want my old bed I’m going to sleep tight
and ignore all those things which go bump in the night
